To prepare for the exams:

The overview exam is socio-economic in nature.

You have a choice between two questions, both of which are accompanied by documents. The purpose of this exam is to evaluate your ability to make an articulate response on the basis of documents. It goes without saying that you can enrich your answer by drawing on your personal knowledge.

In this regard, a comprehension of the issues of international trade and development, geopolitics and social and economic aspects in the 3As (the Americas, Asia and Africa) is a plus. With this in mind, you can best prepare for this exam by consulting such journals as Problèmes économiques, Problèmes d'Amérique Latine, L'Afrique - L'intelligent, Far Eastern Economic Review, Lettre du CEPII, etc.
